Mumbai officials causing hindrance to Bihar Police in Sushant's case?

Mumbai officials causing hindrance to Bihar Police in Sushant’s case?

A four-member team of Bihar Police reached Mumbai on Tuesday after an F.I.R. was filed by the 34-year-old actor’s father against actor Rhea Chakraborty in Bihar in connection with Sushant’s death.

Till now the Bihar police have recorded statements of six people including Sushant’s sister but the local media and some leading Politicians of Bihar have alleged Mumbai police of ill-treating the Bihar cops. A video went viral on Social media after which the stakeholders of Mumbai police are being highly criticized on twitter.

This non-corporative nature of Mumbai police is merely being a hindrance to the Bihar police. Yesterday, they wrote a letter to the high commission of the Maharashtra police seeking their support and cooperation in the case.

Their probe into the death case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput is certainly causing some fiction with Mumbai police. And the disharmony is now turning into a war of allegations and counter-allegations. Amid this logjam between both the state police, Maharashtra Cabinet Minister of State Sambhuraj Desai mentioned in one of his statements, that the Bihar police cannot investigate it in the state without permission.

All of these statements are just enough to indicate the peculiar attitude of the Maharashtra government. It seems like they do not want the probe of any other force in the case

The Maharashtra government’s peculiar attitude!

The Maharashtra government has been trying to resist a CBI inquiry for a long time. According to them, there is no need to hand over the case to CBI as the Mumbai Police is capable of handling it. The assertion came in the wake of the growing demand for a CBI investigation into the matter.

On Friday, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray said that the Sushant Singh Rajput case should not be used to gain any kind of political advantages or to create friction between Maharashtra and Bihar. He further added that the Mumbai Police is not inefficient. And if anyone has any evidence, they may reach out to them and they will interrogate and punish the guilty. Thackeray said. Earlier, the state Home Minister of Maharashtra, Anil Deshmukh opposed intrusion of CBI or any other state police in the case.

Now, there’s just one question flashing over every screen, why is the government of Maharashtra trying to resist probe of CBI or any other state police in the case? Is there anything they are trying to hide? This attitude of the Maharashtra Government is certainly dragging the officials into a balustrade of questions. As media continues to allege the government, there’s also some progress in the great tug of war between the “two-state police”.

The game of allegations and counter-allegations

The game of allegations and counter-allegations continues as the Maharashtra government files another caveat before the Supreme Court in the Rajput’s death case. Earlier, the Bihar government and Rajput’s family members filed caveats in the top court seeking to challenge actor Rhea Chakraborty’s petition that pleaded for transfer of the FIR registered in Patna to Mumbai in the actor’s death case. Bihar Police has asked for the assistance of Mumbai police to probe the Sushant Singh Rajput case.

Another claim that suggests insecurities of the Maharashtra government.

According to a Maharashtra government official, the Bihar police team which is in Mumbai to probe in the alleged suicide by Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput did not follow established protocols. According to Minister Shambhuraj Desai, Bihar police is investigating in the wrong way.

Though, there was no clear remark on what kind of protocol the Bihar police need to abide by. These uncertain and unclear claims by the Government officials of Maharashtra suggests that they are trying to avoid intrusion of Bihar police in the case.

It’s been more than a month since the demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigation is on a standstill it seems, there’s zero progress in the case yet the government officials are constantly making unclear statements. But this attitude is certainly not the solution. These actions are unacceptable and condemnable by the fans of Sushant. The urge for a CBI inquiry is increasing every day.
